Payton has become very adept at observing and mimicking us. Here he is trying to work the microwave and along the way, expressing his frustrations.

Passport photos

We're in process of getting a passport for Payton. I decided to take a photo of him myself. It was tougher than I thought, because of all the requirements: in front of a white wall, 2 in by 2 in, facing forward, between 1 in to 1 3/8 from chin to top of head... next time, we will probably just go to a passport photo place...

Super Bug

So...I got up this morning, went into the bathroom, and felt something light on my foot. I look down, and it is the largest cockroach I have ever seen in the five years we've been in Dallas. I think it was at least 2 inches long and the fact that it was on my foot, freaked me out even more. So, what's a girl to do? I woke up my husband of course, to get rid of it... Unfortunately, when my brave hubby tried to capture it, it ran behind the toilet tank, and wouldn't come out... I hope it has left our apartment...Thank goodness I have no pictures of cockroaches...so, here is one of Payton...

Weekend Fun

Payton had lots of fun this weekend....

chasing after the Okada's dogs...playing soccer with Auntie Lauren, instead of watching football....
