Summer So Far

Six Flags Great America, the kids are just LOVING it! (ok and me too... :)  ) although parker does look concerned in a lot of these pictures.... Payton and I convinced him it is fun... :)

 Payton is mesmerized by the Kratt Brothers. When he first saw them come on stage, he said to me, "Mommy, it's really Chris and Martin from on TV!!"

 They did a good job with the show, Payton loved it! As well as they other 10,000 5 year olds there, it seemed... :)

Growing Up

 Payton did some fishing with Daddy recently, and yes, caught that huge rainbow trout with his "kid" fishing pole!

 Weather's been warming up, and Parker has discovered a love for chalk....all over our back patio and of course, his face and clothes.

Payton has been growing up so fast recently, it seems. Ever since he has turned 5, he has started doing so much. He can now read books, ride his bike without training wheels (short clip above), do math, write chinese characters and play the piano (by reading music). I guess he's ready for Kindergarten in the fall!! (but mommy is not... )  :)

Happy Easter! He is Risen!

 We have had a wonderful couple of weeks! I decided to help Payton practice his reading by writing clues to finding his Easter present. He LOVED the clues. In fact, he wrote some for me to find as well! and at bedtime, asked me to write him 6 more clues tomorrow to find... :)

Ice Skating

Payton has been begging to go ice skating. So, during spring break, I signed him up for a lesson. There were lots of falls, but he seemed to get the hang of it by the end! I think part of the fun was being in a beginner class with all his friends. After the lesson, he immediately asked when he could go again!

Korean Birthday Celebration

During our trip to Texas over Christmas, we celebrated Parker's 1 year birthday (again) with all of our family. He got to wear his traditional korean outfit.
