Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We've had a relaxing long weekend.

Payton and Daddy rafting at the small pond near our house...

Riding the carousel at the zoo.

Our family.

Easter baskets!
Parker is very interested in the eggs.
Payton loves to pose for pictures with Parker.
Now, Parker realizes Payton has some pretty cool stuff in his basket too...
and he goes for it...
not a very clear picture, but I just thought the expression on parker's face was funny.
impromptu easter egg hunt in our backyard with the neighbors.

Payton loves playing with our neighbors and they are so great with him.
Easter egg hunt with our playgroup friends!

Notice the winter jackets, it was and is still chilly up here! We are really looking forward to warmer weather!

7 months old

Parker is 7 (and a half..) months old! He really is a pretty laid back, happy baby, except when he is hungry or tired. He has finally learned to roll both ways and he now sits up pretty well. He is very curious right now and will try to grab anything within his reach. His favorite food right now is pear (mashed up) and he loves mum mums. And fyi we do not put anything special in his hair to keep it growing straight up! :) that's natural...I'm thinking it will eventually flatten right?

and just for fun, here is payton's 7 month photo...

Rainbow Trout Season!

The last two days, Payton, with a little help from dad, has caught 8 rainbow trout.

Footage of his first catch:

Picture of two monsters that Payton caught on the first day:

 Today's catch:

However, since Payton is still picky about food, mommy and daddy get to enjoy the spoils:

6 months old photo shoot and writing

Parker is 6 months old! He is very curious, always grabbing at anything in arm's reach. He can sit up with support and has just learned to roll over from back to front. He drools a ton and has started eating a little bit of solids 3 times a day. So far it seems his favorite is carrots, just like his older brother...He is now almost 21 pounds!

Thanks to one of my friends suggesting the Letter Factory dvds to help Payton learn how to read! Payton had been begging me to teach him how to read, but it wasn't working out so well. Thanks to Gong Gong and Po Po for getting him the dvds for Christmas. After quickly learning all the letter sounds, he has started to be able to read and now has taken a big interest in writing as well. Below is his 3rd birthday card he has written this year all by himself for one of his friends (i forgot to take a picture of the first one, so this one will have to do). (full disclosure, I wrote the "and" because he said he didn't feel like writing it)  :)

Random February Pictures

A few pictures to show what we've been up to the last several weeks. Most of the snow has melted from the blizzard, but it's still COLD outside. So, we still spend alot of time indoors. We are really ready for warmer weather! Parker and Payton love each other so much, it's is so cute.

Parker is almost 6 months old. His eczema has improved alot over the last couple of months, so he's definitely overall been a much happier baby. He still loves the exersaucer.
Focused

He drools a ton and has discovered his tongue.
Have I mentioned how much he loves this thing?
