Since Payton was born, each month, we've taken a monthly photo of him next to a Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal to show how he's grown each month. I remember the first couple of monthly photos, the challenge was to get him to sit upright. From 3-5 months he sat up very well, and I just had to work hard to get him to smile...During the 6 month photo shoot, he discovered the Pooh and wanted to play with him (so new challenges there). Well, this month, he actually played with Pooh and then dove off the couch head first. Thankfully, I caught him in time. Here's a photo him right before he dove off. Does he look kind of sneaky in this photo?

Yummy Carrots
When Payton first starting eating solid foods about six weeks ago, he only really enjoyed squash...so I fed him alot of squash because I really wanted him to get used to eating baby food...now, he has expanded his menu and enjoys eating applesauce, pears, sweet peas and carrots. Here is a picture of him enjoying carrots today.

Payton's Poor Nose
Each night, Payton has a hard time falling asleep. He tosses and turns, whines, and rubs his eyes for a long period of time, before finally falling asleep. Last night, while rubbing his eyes, he scratched his nose. He started crying and at first I couldn't figure out why. Then I looked at his face and saw blood on his nose, so I dabbed it with a tissue for a little while until it stopped bleeding... then I cut all his fingernails really short because I decided that must have been why he got the bloody nose in the first place. Poor Payton... poor little nose...
