Happy Helper

Recently, we learned that Payton knows where dirty diapers go. I had left a rolled up dirty diaper on the floor and Payton promptly picked it up and walked it over to the diaper champ and dropped it in. Ever since then, if I remember, I leave his diapers for him to put in the trash, because it seems to make him happy and proud. See for yourself in this video I took of him....



Hmmm, I wonder when he can do other household chores? :)

Recently found this indoor playground at the Galleria. We've only gone twice, but Payton absolutely LOVES this place. We spend almost an hour there earlier this week and literally, he laughed almost the entire time. If anyone knows of other places like this in Dallas, please let me know! :)

Made it back...Alive!

Over Christmas and New Year's, we spent 2 weeks in Houston and Miami Beach with friends and family. It's always great to see everyone, but this holiday was a little bit tougher than normal...Between the three of us, here were our ailments... shingles, torn miniscus (sp?), 2 ear infections, roseola, fevers, and countless colds/coughs... Now that we've been back in dallas for a week and a half now, we are definitely all cruising on the road to recovery. Antibiotics and medicines have been completed, Mike's knee surgery was a success, Payton's ear infections and roseola are gone.... here are just a some photos from our time over Christmas....
